Account & Plans

What happens if I run out of invoices?

You'll see a notification when you're approaching your limit. Once you reach it, you won't be able to create new draft invoices until you purchase another invoice pack. Packs are cumulative — your new invoices are added to your remaining balance.

Existing drafts on your billing platform are not affected.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Contact support@faturasync.app and we'll delete your account and all associated data. Invoices already created on your billing platform are not affected.


Invoicing

Can I use multiple invoicing providers?

FaturaSync supports one active invoicing provider per property at a time. However, different properties can use different providers. For example, "Apartment A" can use InvoiceXpress while "Apartment B" uses Portal das Finanças.

Does FaturaSync finalize my invoices?

For InvoiceXpress, Moloni, and Vendus: No. FaturaSync creates draft invoices. You review and finalize them in your billing platform.

For Portal das Finanças: Recibos verdes are emitted directly, as the portal does not support draft status. Make sure your booking data is correct before emitting.

Can I edit an invoice after creating it in FaturaSync?

FaturaSync creates the draft, then it's managed by your billing platform. To make changes, edit the draft directly in InvoiceXpress, Moloni, or Vendus before finalizing it.

What document type does FaturaSync create?

This depends on your provider and configuration. Typically:

  • InvoiceXpress — Fatura (Invoice)
  • Moloni — Fatura or Fatura Simplificada
  • Vendus — Fatura
  • Portal das Finanças — Recibo Verde (Green Receipt)

Data & Security

Is my data secure?

Yes. FaturaSync uses industry-standard security practices:

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
  • Credentials are stored encrypted in our database
  • Authentication is handled by Supabase (enterprise-grade auth)
  • We never store your guests' payment information
  • AT passwords (Portal das Finanças) are encrypted at rest

What data does FaturaSync store?

FaturaSync stores:

  • Your account information (email, settings)
  • Property configurations (names, IVA rates, commission percentages)
  • API keys/credentials for your connected services (encrypted)
  • Booking data imported during your session

FaturaSync does not store:

  • Guest payment details
  • Credit card numbers
  • Complete tax portal history

Can I export my data?

You can export your booking table as a CSV file from the dashboard. For invoice records, use the export features in your billing platform (InvoiceXpress, Moloni, Vendus, or Portal das Finanças).


Importing

My PMS is not supported. Can I still use FaturaSync?

Yes. Use the Manual CSV/Excel import feature. Export bookings from your PMS as a CSV or Excel file, then upload it to FaturaSync.

Can I import bookings from multiple platforms at once?

Yes. If your PMS aggregates bookings from Airbnb, Booking.com, and direct channels, FaturaSync imports all of them in a single sync. The platform/channel is identified for each booking so the correct commission is applied.

Will FaturaSync create duplicate invoices?

No. FaturaSync tracks which bookings have already been invoiced and flags them if you try to import the same date range again.

What browsers are supported?

FaturaSync works on all modern browsers:

  • Mozilla Firefox

  • Microsoft Edge

Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is not supported. Please use a modern browser.

Does FaturaSync work on mobile?

FaturaSync is designed for desktop use, as it involves reviewing tables and managing settings. It will work on tablets but is not optimized for phone screens.

Do I need to install anything?

No. FaturaSync is a web application. Just go to faturasync.app in your browser.


Billing & Tax

Is FaturaSync a replacement for my accountant?

No. FaturaSync automates the creation of draft invoices/recibos, but it does not replace professional accounting advice. Always consult your accountant (contabilista) for tax compliance questions.

Does FaturaSync handle IRS/IRC declarations?

No. FaturaSync only handles invoice/recibo creation. Tax declarations are managed separately through the Portal das Finanças or your accountant.
