Import from Hostaway

Connect your Hostaway account to import bookings automatically via the Hostaway API.

Get your Hostaway credentials

Hostaway requires two values: your Account ID and API Key.

1. Log in at dashboard.hostaway.com
2. Go to Settings (gear icon in the left sidebar)
3. Click API Keys under the Integrations section
4. Your Account ID is shown at the top of the page
5. Click Create API Key if you don't have one yet, or copy an existing key
6. Give it a name like "FaturaSync" and copy the generated API Key

Keep these credentials safe

Your Account ID and API Key grant access to your Hostaway data. Never share them publicly. The API key is only shown once when created — save it immediately.

Connect to FaturaSync

1. In FaturaSync, go to Settings
2. Select Hostaway as your PMS
3. Enter your Account ID
4. Paste your API Key
5. Click Save

FaturaSync will validate both credentials and confirm the connection.

Import bookings

1. On the main dashboard, make sure Hostaway is selected as the source
2. Set the date range for the bookings you want to import
3. Click Sync
4. Your reservations appear in the booking table, ready for invoicing

What data comes from Hostaway?

Commission handling

Like other PMS integrations, Hostaway provides gross amounts. FaturaSync calculates the net amount using your commission settings.

Troubleshooting

• "Invalid credentials" — Verify both the Account ID and API Key are correct
• No bookings found — Adjust the date range to cover the correct period
• Timeout errors — If you have a large number of bookings, try a shorter date range
